Dr. Rolando Toyos

is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and specializes in Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma, and Dry Eye. He is one of the most experienced surgeons in the United States, completing over 35,000 cataract surgeries and 20,000 glaucoma laser treatments. Dr. Toyos is the inventor of the procedure Intense Pulse Light IPL for Dry Eye Disease. Toyos Clinic has been recognized as one the fastest growing companies in the United States by Inc. Magazine.

Dr. Luz María Vasquez

specializes in oculoplastics and orbital surgery. Dr. Luz María Vasquez earned her medical degree at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and completed her residency at CES University in Medellin, Colombia. Since 2011, she has been working as a consultant at the Institut de Microcirurgia Ocular in Barcelona, ​​in the Department of Ophthalmic Plastic and Orbital Surgery. Dr. Vasquez has published several research articles in national and international medical journals.

Dr Melissa Toyos

specializes in cataract surgery, glaucoma, and cosmetic procedures of the face.  She has extensive experience in the use of lasers, fillers, botox, latisse, and lid surgery to achieve facial rejuvenation. Dr. Melissa Toyos is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Louisiana State University who is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist. Dr. Toyos is a national researcher and lecturer.  She trains other doctors on surgical techniques as well as the use of ocular and cosmetic medications.

Dr. Martin McKibbin

is a consultant ophthalmologist at St. James’s University Hospital, Leeds (UK). He has clinical and research interests in retinal vascular disease and inherited retinal disease. He is the AMD lead in Leeds and provides inherited eye disease clinics in several local hospitals. He has been chief and principal investigator for a number of interventional and observational studies, both commercial and non-commercial.

Dr. Adam Booth

is an English ophthalmologist who specialises in glaucoma research. He has studied in England (Yorkshire and Leeds) and at the University of California, San Francisco, USA. In 2003, Dr. Booth joined the Royal Eye Infirmary in Plymouth, where he is currently Head of the Glaucoma Department. Additionally, Dr. Booth works at Peninsula Medical School and the University of Plymouth.

Prof. James S. Wolffsohn

is the Head of the School of Optometry and a professor at Aston University, UK. He has been an academic at Aston University since 2000. Prior to his appointment to Aston University, Professor Wolffsohn was a Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne in Australia. His main research areas are the development and evaluation of ophthalmic instrumentation, contact lenses, intraocular lenses, and the tear film. He is a National Teaching Fellow, has published more than 280 full peer-reviewed papers and presented at numerous international conferences.

Dr. Lakhdar Belhaouari

is a well-known plastic surgeon and trainer who is currently involved in private practice in Toulouse, France. He was previously the Head of the Clinic of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toulouse. Dr. Belhaouari specialises in aesthetic surgery in its broadest sense, but also specializes in non-invasive cosmetology: Botox and other fill-in injections, peeling, laser therapy, and more. Dr. Belhaouari has published two books and numerous articles on aesthetic surgery.

Dr. Ethan Priel

is the founder and head of the Department of Ophthalmology at the MOR Institute in Israel. He has devoted most of his career to learning, developing, and refining ophthalmic imaging techniques. Dr. Priel has a special talent for teaching, and our doctors have been fortunate to participate in it through webinars. Furthermore, Dr. Priel is always ready to analyse our research and give good advice.

Martin Long

is head of the Heidelberg Engineering training center. He is an ophthalmologist whose special passion is to display different parts of the eye and use them to diagnose diseases. Our cooperation started in 2016. In 2017, we already organized a workshop together on performing Spectral tests and analyzing images. Due to the current situation, we have now continued training online. If we have difficulty diagnosing a patient’s illness in our daily work, Dr. Martin Long and his colleagues are always ready to help us.
